She's not at all how I imagined her to be in 'real life' for some reason - very dry sense of humour! Interesting take on the publishing situation, and a great way to get her message across.

Hi Karen, I'd heard her talk in Oxford some years back so was prepared for her dry delivery. It's interesting how we build an impression of the writer from the work, isn't it? And as for the humour, well God knows we need it when dealing with the current publishing environment! I see myself as a dead moose now ...
